Biography
Hon. Prince Ukpong Akpabio is a distinguished legislator, public servant, and community advocate currently representing Essien Udim Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly. His career spans more than two decades of policy advisory, community organising, and elected office.
Early Life & Education
Born and raised in Essien Udim, he attended local schools before earning a B.Sc. in Political Science from the University of Uyo, followed by an M.Sc. in Public Policy. His early exposure to community life shaped a lifelong focus on grassroots development.
Political Journey
After years of public service across the local government and as Special Adviser on Community Affairs, he was elected to the State Assembly in 2019 and re-elected in 2023 on the strength of a clear record of project delivery and legislative engagement.
